Good luck to coach Cory Harbinson and the Team Boca Girls 2009 NPL team as they play in the NPL National Finals in Denver, Colorado, this week (July 7-11).

The girls, who are the NPL Florida League U17 Finals champions, will play at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park.“We’re embracing the challenge,” said coach Cory Harbinson, who is in his fourth season with the squad. “We are excited to represent both Team Boca and Florida. We will do our best; these girls have earned the opportunity, and we will leave everything on the field.”Team Boca, in Group A in the Girls U17 Division, opens play against Emerald City FC at 10:30 a.m. (MDT) on July 7. Congratulations to Team Boca ECNL 2010 player Catalina Sola, who was selected to the US Youth Soccer South Regional Pool ODP U17 squad for a second straight year.

Sola, a rising junior at Dwyer High School, was a member of the Team Boca ECNL RL 2009 team last season and is now a member of the Team Boca ECNL 2010 team. She was selected after her recent performance in the ODP Subregional event in Atlanta, Georgia.The US Youth Soccer ODP South Summer ID event is being held in Matthews, NC, from July 7-9, at the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex.For this event, each state has selected its top players from each age group to attend and compete.
