The Owls return to the Top 20 following a historic season in which they captured both the American Athletic Conference Regular Season and Postseason Tournament Championships and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.FAU showed its resilience Sunday, battling back from 2-0 and 3-1 deficits to earn a thrilling 3-3 draw against No. 20 NC State.Worthen, who also serves as the coach of Team Boca’s U12 Girls Pre-ECNL team, is making an impact at both the collegiate and club levels.“It’s a great recognition for the team to be able to crack into the Top 25,” said Worthen, whose Owls are off to a 2-0-2 start. “We’ve had a great start to the season. To be ranked again this year is a big accomplishment for the guys and certainly deserved.“But we want more,” he added. “We want to continue to win. We’re undefeated so far to this point. We want to keep that as we go into our last non-conference game and then into our first conference game the following week. So, really excited about it.”Back in the Top 20!
